Kia ora everyone yesterday in our 9T English class the students took a break from practicing their speeches and instead they all created word art posters. Still keeping focus on their speeches they had to list some of the key words within their speechs and transfer them onto their word art posters. This also reinforces their practice and memorizing of the speech that they will be assessed on next week. Here is an example of the poster, and I have used all of our students names. I'm looking forward to hearing how the speeches go. Have you thought about students recording their speeches with Screencastify? Students could share recordings on their blogs. Alternatively just using the audio files would make a nice podcast for the class.
